Lauren and Kevin. What a cute couple. Lauren actually tried to tell me she and Kevin are camera sky and have a PDA phobia… we pretty much figured out that is not the case. Their energy together is very natural and loving, which makes my job easy. I really love the way they look in muted tones, so take a look at some of my personal favorites below. Their wedding is coming up in August, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out. It will be at the gorgeous King Plow Arts Center. Here they are, the to-be Haynes: Lauren and Kevin.

I don’t know if I have ever encountered a bride who had more fun on her wedding day….or a couple for that matter. Matt and Leigh had their first kiss in the 8th grade, if I recall correctly, and after years of dating finally tied the knot. Matt asked Leigh to be his wife at the very spot where they had their first kiss so many years ago.  Needless to say. they are best friends and that is obvious just being around them. As for the venue, it was just about perfect. In fact, if I were to get married all over again, it might just be at the Piedmont Room at Piedmont Park. Located in downtown Atlanta, there’s a great view of the park and city skyline. The main room is almost all windows so tons of light flooded the ceremony. A beautiful day.

I forget the exact words, but the lyrics said something like “it’s me for the rest of your life” and Leigh pointed to herself, adorable!

Before me and the hubs head to NYC (YAY!!!!) for the weekend, we wanted to share a taste of what we’ve been editing this week. We are really loving this wedding so far. Gorgeous couple-inside and out. We’ll post the full wedding collection after we return…

Rarely do I come across a couple with so much passion for one another. At our shoot (featuring mostly coffee shops because of the rainy weather), Kristen and Patrick basically went into lovely land and forgot about me taking a million photos of them. This, I might add, is the perfect formula for excellent shots that capture the love between two people. I wish I could share all of their 160 images with you just to show how incredibly sweet (and sometimes hilarious) their interaction is.  The best images, in my opinion, are the ones that illustrate the authentic bond between husband and wife…the ones that ultimately remind you of how much you adore your other half.
